We are Jodi Chapman and Dan Teck--the writers behind these fun journals. We are a husband and wife team who always dreamed of writing books that helped people. We are thrilled that our dream has come true!

We started this journey in 2005 when we founded This Is It! Creations - our ecofriendly handmade gift company. We wanted to spend our days together, making products that expressed our creativity and inspired others. Almost 500 products and many years later, our Soulful Journals were born! We started out making blank journals, and over the years we noticed that many customers shied away from them - saying that it was a bit intimidating to try to start a new page. They wanted to write, but they didn't know where or how to begin. We are both writers, and so we immediately began writing our Soulful Journals. It was so much fun to put our passion to good use! And thankfully, the response has been wonderful. We have since sold thousands of them all around the world! We are beyond grateful that we can now focus solely on these journals and help as many people as we can get in touch them themselves in a fun, non-intimidating way.

Rather than attempting to hand down wisdom from on high, we strive to create reminders of what you already know, questions to reawaken your own inner wisdom, and prompts to reignite your passion for living the life you were born to live.

We are beyond thrilled that the response has been so positive, and we love hearing how our books are making a difference in people's lives. We feel such joy in helping to spread positivity around the world, and we are forever grateful that you all are making it possible.
